Sol Y Viento is a six-hectare mountain spring resort located in 55 Brgy. Pansol, Calamba City Laguna. Situated on top of a hill overlooking three scenic spots namely: Laguna de Bay, Mount Makiling and Makati City.
In May 2004, Brig. Gen. Antonio l. Tamayo, CEO & Chairman of the Board, moved and guided by divine inspiration unintentionally found the once known “Club Sol Viento” when he and his family visited their newly acquired Pansol property nearby. Gen. Tamayo dreamed of developing this property into a center for retreats, trainings, conferences and other group activities. However, the view from this place was not so pleasing.
While he was looking at the view, he saw a road going upward to a hill and followed it through until he saw the once known “Club Sol Y Viento”. When he saw the place, he saw the lake and the beautiful view and scenery from the top. He immediately fell in-love with the place.
He was met by the guard on duty and met with Aling Nila Penaranda, the care taker of the place, who informed him that the resort was for sale. Right away, Brig, Gen Tamayo instructed his lawyers to process the leasing of the property.
Thereafter, the renovation of the resort started and continuously been upgraded to meet current market demands.
